Just visit YourSay and select the engagement that interests you. You can then participate via the methods available for that engagement. It may for example be a survey, a poll or a discussion board.

Those marked 'seeking feedback' are open for participation. There may be one or several ways to have your say, and there will be a closing date.

Those marked 'closed for feedback' mean that the project is open, but is not currently asking for community feedback. These engagements can be viewed on the website. A timeline will indicate at what stage the project is up to. They may open again for further rounds of consultation in the future, or updates may be released.

Those marked 'no longer seeking consultation' are no longer open or active and the project consultation has completed. They may remain searchable on the site for reference purposes.

You only need to register if an engagement involves an open public discussion board, or if we need your details to get back to you with information.

Registration is a simple process. You’ll just need to provide a few details including a username, password, postcode and valid email address. There are a couple of optional questions too. You’ll only have to register once.

Some consultations may also ask if you would like to receive additional information for that topic only. You can do this with just an email address. You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time.

All comments, ideas and suggestions through Your Say are collated and used to inform the ACT Government on decision making processes. Online feedback is used in conjunction with other face-to-face consultation activities such as workshops, meetings or surveys.

Yes. Your privacy is protected. The ACT Government will only use your email to invite you to participate in new engagements, or update you on existing projects where you have indicated an interest in. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose. More information is available in our Privacy Policy.

Moderators will not alter or edit forum comments. Forum comments will only be removed if they are deemed to be significantly off topic, offensive or malicious – as outlined in the Moderation Policy. Users may be notified if their comments are removed and informed of the moderation process.
