Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Conversation

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability and their families are invited to yarn and connect over lunch.

Tell us how you would like the ACT to be more inclusive and accessible for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.

Learn what support is available and how to get in touch with the different disability support agencies.

This event will be hosted by Patrice Soward and Alarna Moscaritolo.

Patrice Soward is a proud Wiradjuri woman who was born and raised on Ngunnawal country. She has experience as a carer for family members with disability and understands the importance of dignity, equality and rights.

Alarna Moscaritolo is a proud Wiradjuri woman who was a strong advocate for her son for 18 years. As the mother of a nonverbal, Aboriginal man with disability, she identified multiple gaps in supports and services and is keen to help drive positive change.
