Introduction

Canberra's parks and reserves cover more than 60% of the ACT, making Canberra a very special place to live. They include Namadgi National Park, Tidbinbilla, Molonglo River Reserve, the Murrumbidgee River Corridor, the Lower Cotter Catchment and Canberra Nature Park.

It's important we have strong plans in place to guide how we manage and protect our parks and reserves and strike a balance between nature conservation, cultural heritage and community use. Please see below for more details.
