The Canberra and Region Heritage Festival returns from 11 April to 10 May 2026, celebrating the places, stories and people that have shaped our city. This year’s theme, Mid-century – innovation, change and optimism, highlights a time of bold ideas, creativity and cultural transformation in Canberra’s heritage. The festival offers a diverse program of events for all ages — from architecture, design and local history to First Nations stories and hands-on activities.
