While “every ACT school provides gifted education” some schools do it better. There needs to be flexibility in school choice for gifted kid

The intention to update and clarify is well intentioned. Serious concerns over the wording

It’s concerning that flexible learning this could lead to exclusion of children with disabilities.

Flexible attendance requirements do not fix the root of the problem, or support learning for those who need support!

This is essentially giving schools the ability to indefinitely suspend students who need the most support.

This is a plan to exclude children with behavioural disabilities under the guise of remote learning

The enrolments “clarification” will force children to attend the local school even if it clearly not the right environment for them.

Really think you need to look at 5/6 Campbell primary who are doing amazing things. Check them out and will change your world

'Flexible attendance requirements.' Schools, not currently providing disabled children with reasonable adjustments, now get a free pass.
