To take part in the 2018 Spring Review, community and stakeholders could provide a submission in writing via email remtrib@act.gov.au or post to The Chair, ACT Remuneration Tribunal, PO Box 964, CIVIC SQUARE ACT 2608.
Your submission will be published on the Remuneration Tribunal website. You can request your submission to remain confidential, however please provide your reasoning.
We are looking at:
The Tribunal seeks feedback on the remuneration, allowances and other entitlements of a number of public office holders including:
- ACT Magistrates Court Judicial members;
- ACT Supreme Court Judicial members;
- ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal members;
- the Principal Registrar, Courts and Tribunal;
- the Director of Public Prosecutions;
- part-time Holders of Public Office on boards, tribunals and committees; and
- any other positions that have been referred to the Tribunal for consideration.
- the level of responsibility and the type of work that is performed;
- the impact on the ACT community; and
- any comparative data or examples from other jurisdictions or industries to support any recommended changes.
The Tribunal welcomes written submissions about the remuneration, allowances and other entitlements to be paid to the above office holders from interested persons including occupants of the positions, organisations and associations, and members of the community.
To allow the Tribunal to continue to make sound and supported decisions based on an assessment of work value, it is useful if written submissions address the following areas:
- the level of responsibility and the type of work that is performed;
- the impact on the ACT community; and
- any comparative data or examples from other jurisdictions or industries to support any recommended changes.
We will use your views to:
Submissions will inform the Tribunal’s deliberations in determining the level of remuneration, allowances and other entitlements for the relevant office holders.
