The WWVP Act is an important initiative that aims to reduce the risk of harm to vulnerable people. It works by requiring employees, volunteers and self-employed people who work with vulnerable people to have a background check and be registered.

The WWVP Act has been in operation for three years and the ACT Government is conducting a review of the Act to make sure it is working as intended.

The Nous Group, on behalf of ACT Government, invite you to have your say about the WWVP Act.

Consultation questions?

We want to hear from you about how the WWVP Act and scheme can be improved to protect vulnerable people in our local community.

A Review of the Working with Vulnerable People Act discussion paper has been prepared with a list of questions that will help guide organisations, employees, volunteers and individuals who access services wanting to provide feedback.

More information about the WWVP Act can be found on the Access Canberra website.
