Strathnairn School Logo and Uniform: This project is open for feedback
About the project
Strathnairn School’s Principal Nicole Nicholson is looking forward to opening the school’s doors next year, and is excited to work with the community as the school progresses towards its opening.
In finalising the look and feel of the school, Nicole is excited to hear what the local school community thinks of the following options for the school logo and uniform. There are three logos that are being considered, each in a green or purple colour palette. We have provided some example uniform designs that align with each logo and colour palette. These designs may differ from the final uniform. We want to hear your thoughts about your preferred logo choice and colour palette. The below survey is open until 21 September 2025.
How to have your say
The impact of having your say
The community's feedback will be used to help inform the school's decision about the official logo and uniform colours. Watch out for their announcement in October!
Logo and uniform options
Community

The Community logo is made of organic shapes that form around a central point, illustrating the ripple effect.
The gentle shapes represent a person being protected.
It also demonstrates elements coming together to make a whole, the way a community is made up of all of us.
The logo is inspired by the ideas of connection and safety. It says you are cared for, you are not alone.
Flow

The importance of the Murrumbidgee River as a songline/pathway is reflected in the architecture and interior design of the school.
The Murrumbidgee River is 1,485 km long, flowing from the Australian Alps to the semi-arid riverine plains. We only see a very small part of it, but it flows on and on, connecting places, people, plants and animals.
The organic lines represent flowing water but they also look like a fingerprint – we all come together with our unique perspectives.
Path

This option represents the landscape around the school – the curving river and mountains.
The logo shows a winding river travelling through the land without beginning or end.
