About this engagement

Telopea Park School expansion

We are preparing to expand and modernise Telopea Park School’s Senior Campus, including increasing the school’s permanent high-school capacity by 500 places (300 of which will be new places).

This initiative is part of the ACT Government’s commitment to meeting enrolment growth by permanently expanding schools in the Inner South.

The project is at a very early stage. Information about the expansion is available at on the Built for CBR website and regular updates will be available on the school website.

Early engagement

In this 'phase one' engagement activity, we would like to hear feedback from local residents and members of the school community about where and how the construction project might affect traffic, parking and the pedestrian experience around the Telopea Park School site.

How to have your say

We invite local residents and members of the school community to drop a pin on the map with a comment.

You can also email feedback to ACT.Education@act.gov.au.

This 'phase one' engagement activity will be open for six weeks, until Friday 15 December.

The Telopea Park School Senior Campus expansion and modernisation project is at a very early stage. We are seeking this information to help us plan for the project.

The information gathered about local residents' and the school community's feedback about the project's potential impact on parking, traffic and the pedestrian experience around the site will be incorporated into the project's planning at the earliest opportunity.

At a later stage, the design consultation phase, Telopea Park School students and school community will be provided an opportunity to share their ideas for the expansion and modernisation of the Senior Campus, and the local community will continue to have the opportunity to have their say on issues that affect them.

The information gathered will be incorporated into the planning for the project. A 'What We Heard' report detailing the feedback received will be made available early in 2024.
