The purpose of a consultation period is to ensure that when a general treatment plan is proposed, all people with interest and expertise have an opportunity to review and comment on it. The legislation states that submissions from the public must be published on an ACT Government website, unless it identifies a person who has a VSC and lacks decision-making capacity, or if the content is sensitive or prejudicial to an individual. Similarly, the Assessment Board recognises that some individuals may wish to make a submission anonymously.

Please note that if an anonymous submission does not include sensitive or prejudicial information, it will still be published on an ACT Government website according to the legislation.

If you would like to make an anonymous submission, you may upload your contribution below. Alternatively, should you wish to email a submission directly, please email vscboard@act.gov.au.
