Judging of ideas will be based on pictures and/or words provided.

  1. The activity will run from 8 February 2022 to midnight 27 March 2022. Late entrants will not be considered. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they appear on the YourSay database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Suburban Land Agency has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
  2. The Suburban Land Agency Whitlam Local Centre youth ideas selection panel will view submitted images and/or descriptions of ideas.
  3. Six entries will be selected to win a gift voucher, each of $50 value.
  4. Winners will be notified by phone/email before 1 April 2022 and may be announced by SLA subsequently.
  5. Suburban Land Agency may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency or other proof deemed appropriate by the Suburban Land Agency.
  6. Winners will be selected based on how well their ideas meet one or more of these criteria:
    • creative use of colours, textures and visual impact (the WOW factor);
    • description – why your idea is important to you!;
    • overall design idea.
  7. The decision of the Suburban Land Agency is final, no conversations will be entered into with regards to the selection of the winners.
  8. Suburban Land Agency reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. Prizes are non-transferrable, or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers won are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the Suburban Land Agency.
  9. Winners may arrange to have their prize posted/delivered to their home or collect their prize from the SLA head office 480 Northbourne Ave, Dickson.
  10. In the event that the competition is unable to proceed the Suburban Land Agency reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the competition at any stage at their discretion. If all entries are deemed unsuitable, the Suburban Land Agency reserves the right to not award a prize.
  11. Participants agree to allow their images and ideas to be used by The Suburban Land Agency and the Suburban Land Agency is given all rights and permission to photos submitted or taken in the youth design ideas activity. This includes being able to use these photos in promotional and marketing purposes including but not limited to Suburban Land Agency social media, the Suburban Land Agency website, YourSay page, Mingle social media pages and Mingle suburb newsletters. Winners’ first names and suburbs may be published in addition to their ideas. Any additional personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian privacy and personal information protection legislation.
  12. Entry or winning does not guarantee inclusion in the final design of the Whitlam Local Centre shopping area.
