Overview
The ACT Government's City Renewal Authority is seeking your ideas and input on a concept design masterplan outlining future public space upgrades on Alinga Street to create better city streets.
A concept master plan is a big plan for the future. It helps us know what to do and when to do it, so we can grow and improve the area.
The Alinga Street project aims to better connect the City Centre with businesses and residences in City West and the Australian National University.
The goal is to make it safer and easier for residents, workers and visitors to move around Alinga Street. This includes pedestrians, cyclists, those who use light rail and the bus network.
It is about creating public spaces that encourage people to visit and stay longer – increasing social connection and supporting local businesses.
