The final map indicates walking intensity based on the land use and proximity to Rapid stops. Any planning process is likely to use a number of factors including trip destinations and demographics to analyse walking needs in a given area.

Taken together with ongoing Fix my Street requests, your feedback on the interactive walking map during the consultation period will be used to inform our priorities. We review these every year to ensure a continuous stream of investment in active travel.
