ACT Health is seeking diverse consumers, carers and community members with lived experience of the ACT public health system to sit on a newly established Clinical System Governance Committee.

This Committee will provide governance, recommendations, and advice to the ACT health system to ensure safe, effective, person-centred health care is consistently delivered across the whole of the ACT healthcare system.

As a Committee member, you will provide valuable insights on how those who use the health services think and feel and ensure your point of view and experiences are considered in decision-making processes.

Who we are looking for

As a consumer, carer or community representative, your role on the CSGC will be to formally present the perspective of a consumer, carer or community member.

You will provide valuable insights on how those who use the health services think and feel, and contribute from the perspective of the consumer experience. You will ensure that your point of view or experience is considered and addressed in the decision-making process that leads to any action taken across the ACT health system driving improvements of quality and safety.

This role can be filled by persons of any age or background. The greater the diversity, the richer the viewpoint and more robust the process in which the CSGC will function.

Join the Committee

To be considered as a representative on the Committee, please read our What's Involved page and fill out the Expression of Interest (EOI) Nomination form.

EOI submissions will close on 13 June 2023.
