How you had YourSay:
Thank you for providing feedback through the online survey. The survey is now closed.
We are reviewing your feedback about what's needed and how we can work together to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families.
Thank you for letting us know what's important to you when you think about your own mental health and wellbeing, the mental health and wellbeing of someone in your care, and for sharing your experiences.
We are working closely with the community, including people with lived experience of mental illness, carers, and service providers, to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of all Canberrans.
Between February and March 2019, Canberrans helped us develop our priorities, and a vision for mental health and wellbeing in the ACT. Please take a look at our background information if you would like to know more about feedback provided.
The Office for Mental Health and Wellbeing, in partnership with Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT) and the Capital Health Network, is now building on what is working well and what else needs to be in place to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families. This includes community-led, as well as government funded programs, in mental health promotion, prevention, education, and service provision.
We are looking at:

Understanding this landscape will help us make recommendations for future projects or funding that will support the children and young people within our community.
By capturing your views, you’re helping us to develop and guide future projects.
Your views are being used to:
Your views and experiences will help us to understand the challenges experienced by children and young people. This will help to inform co-design workshops and recommendations on how to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the ACT.
