What we're looking at

Extending light rail to Commonwealth Park will deliver a convenient new transport option, and greater connection between the city and the lake. Three new stops will extend the light rail network by 1.7 kilometres and is jointly funded by the ACT Government and Australian Government.

We're planning ahead for Canberra's growth to better connect the places where people live, work, and socialise. As we progress this work, we're considering how we can create attractive, engaging and user-friendly spaces for the three new stops and the areas around them.

We're inviting feedback on the facilities, features and activities that will help shape our city into the future and deliver connected, vibrant and sustainable spaces.

Your input will be considered and assist in informing project decisions and broader city renewal activities.
