How to have YourSay

The revitalisation of the Tuggeranong Town Centre is continuing with the next stage of improvements set to be delivered along the foreshore precinct. The ACT Government is investing $4.75 million to design and construct improvements across the foreshore to create a more liveable, people focused and active public realm.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback from 28 March to 8 May 2022 by completing the survey, dropping a pin on our interactive map, attending a pop-up or emailing us. We received 657 items of feedback in total.

A What We Heard Report which summarises key themes and insights from the community feedback is now available.

Feedback received through this engagement will be used to shape designs for upgrades to the foreshore precinct between Reed Street South and Athllon Drive. We will share these designs with you ahead of commencing construction.

We will also collate suggestions provided by the community for the entire foreshore area which can be incorporated into ongoing programs such as community path upgrades and general amenity improvements.

We are looking at

The ACT Government is calling for community input on improvements to the Lake Tuggeranong foreshore.

We want to hear from Lake Tuggeranong users about your priorities and ideas for upgrades to the foreshore around the Lake. These could include improvements to paths and missing links, more bins and seating, additional tree planting, playground improvements, water bubblers and better picnic facilities or other priorities.

Your feedback will help inform the design of the Lake Tuggeranong foreshore upgrades.

These improvements are key to the continued revitalisation of the Tuggeranong Town Centre following upgrades to Anketell Street, the laneway between Anketell Street and Lake Tuggeranong and recent pedestrian and cyclist improvements. They will further improve connectivity in and around the town centre, improve public access and safety and encourage the community to spend more time in our public recreation spaces with family and friends.
