There are so many possibilities that could be explored throughout our co-design process. Here were some questions we suggested to help get you started:

  • what will your life look like in the next decade?
  • what will you be doing, learning or enjoying and where will you be doing it?
  • how will you be living, travelling, shopping, working and socialising?
  • how can libraries play a role in the life of “future you” – or the life of your friends or family?
  • what might you be doing, thinking, hearing and saying in the library in the year 2030?
  • what could libraries do in the future that we don’t do now?
  • how might libraries contribute to your wellbeing and enable and enrich your life?
  • what “things” might you need to use, borrow or have access to?
  • how might you be using digital services in your life now and into the future?
  • what if you could receive your resources in a different way – what would that look like?
  • how could libraries make it easy to connect with us in the future?
  • if you could place the library in a place most convenient to you, where would that be and why?
  • what might make you choose to go to one branch over another?
  • what is one thing you would like libraries to change right now?
  • if anything were possible, what should libraries do, be and look like in a decade?
