The ACT Place Names Advisory Committee invites community feedback on proposed new road and place names at the Dickson shops, the Kingston Foreshore and at Clive Steele Avenue in Monash.

Dickson

We want to make it easier for people to find their way around Dickson shopping centre. We have proposed new names for roads around the shops, and the public square outside Dickson Library, to commemorate two local women and one man who were prominent in the Dickson community. Kingston

The boardwalk along Kingston harbour doesn’t have a name, but that is about to change. The ACT Place Names Advisory Committee is asking for community feedback on a proposal to name the boardwalk ‘Colin Stewart Boardwalk’ in honour of the architect who was instrumental in the Kingston foreshore’s design. We need your help to name a cul-de-sac in Monash. The ACT Place Names Advisory Committee is asking for community suggestions for a name that fits with the suburb theme of ‘Engineers’.
